Girls Class L

Team Scores: Windsor 66, Simsbury 56, 46.75, Wilton 36.75, Conard 36, Darien 29.75

Sprints

Wilton's Shelby Dejana was tops in the 55H prelims but only 3rd in the 55m trials, and she turned it on with scorchers in both finals to earn the double gold. Jalah Cooper took the 300m while also helping her champ Windsor team later in the 4x400m. Simsbury's Elsa Martin ran to a Class M record in the 600m.


Distance

Simsbury's Olivia Birney helped her team sweep the titles in the middle distance 600m-1000m by capturing the 1K while also assisting in her team's SMR win. Conard's Chloe Scrimgeour took the 1600m-3200m double.


Field

Conard's Audrey Kirkutis won the tiebreaker over Woodstock Academy's Julia Theriaque to take the high jump and give her team a third individual title. East Lyme's Sjodin Fedikovic won a three-way tiebreaker in the pole vault over East Lyme's Megan Dellilo and Shelton's Elizabeth Porto. Darien's Chelsi Chevannes pushed her season's best up a half foot to capture the long jump, and Wethersfield's Clarissa Nock took the shot put.


Relays

Windsor won the 4x200m and 4x400m, New Britain grabbed the 4x800m, and Simsbury took the SMR
