Class SS's Top Runners
Class SS has a bunch of guys who could be running at the top this year.
Caleb Freeman (Haddam-Killingworth). The Cougar senior was 5th in the Shoreline championship and is the top returner from the meet.
Greyson Merola and Jack Insalaco (Haddam-Killingworth) were 11th and 13th in the Shoreline championship and should team with Freeman to give the Cougars a strong top three.
Ben Campion (Somers). The Spartan junior was 6th in the NCCC - East championship.
Jack Dendinger and Tommy Purcell (Canton). The Warrior junior and senior finished 5th and 6th in the NCC - West championship last year.
Michael Strain, Lucas Strain, Jacob Strain (Griswold). The brothers were freshmen when they finished in the top nine of the 2019 Class S championship, and after an XC season with no posted results, they should be back at the top.
Nathan Ireland (East Hampton). The Bellringer junior finished 21st in the 2019 Class SS championship when his brother Jacob won the title.
