Connecticut Girls XC Class M- SS - S Previews + NEPSTA Group

Class M's Top Runners

A mix of runners who led their teams last year and ones who will be stepping to the front in 2021 mark the top group here.

Peyton Bornstein (Tolland). Bornstein was 4th among five sophomores who topped the finishers of the 2019 Class M championship, and now as a senior she will leading the Eagles' defense of its class title after winning the M's 3200m race in June.

Jordan Malloy (Bacon Academy). Malloy was the winner of the 2019 ECC race as a sophomore, and she is back for a run at a Class M title.

Julia Cannon (Sacred Heart). The Shark junior led the team on an impressive run in 2020, and with everyone back in 2021, Sacred Heart could be looking for a class title.

Gabriella Zeller and Ginny Mullen (Lewis Mills). The Spartans' junior and sophomore leaders will be trying to move their team up in the CCC and also up from their 12th place finish at the 2019 M championship.

Kelly Jones (Laurelton Hall). The Crusader junior was the 6th overall in the SCC merge last year and also took 5th and 4th places in the 1600m and 3200m at the Class M meet in June.

Ashley Hubert (New Fairfield). The Rebel senior finished 8th last year in the SWC merge and will be stepping up to help lead a team with a serious shot at the Class M title.
