Members of Danbury High boys and girls track teams traveled
to the 50th annual Arcadia Invitational, at Arcadia High School in Arcadia. This
is the nation's largest prep activity held at a high school with a record of
653 schools from across the nation. The
following are their performances including those that have qualified for New
Balance Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, NC.

In Non- CT news, Sydney McLaughlin set a new high school record in her first and only time running the 300IH. Her time of 39.80 broke the old record of 39.98 set by Lashinda of Wilson, CA and even the American record of 39.73 by Kim Batten.
American Fork from Utah set the national high school record in the 4 x 1600m with a time of 16:41.30, an average of just over 4:10 a person.
In the 3200m 25 runners broke the magic 9 min barrier (with two more in the 2nd heat) led by Cooper Teare of St. Joseph Notre Dame, NC who set the meet record with a 8:41.46.
