Yale Track Classic 2009

Pictures from some events at the Yale Classic at Coxe Cage in New Haven, CT.

Sam Roecker of Burnt Hills-Balston Lake took charge from the gun in the girls 3000m, and while her teammate Molly Pezullo hung on her shoulder, Roecker just continued to run out front. Roecker is just tough - it's as simple as that. Anyone who has ever seen her race would agree. She may look dead at the mile mark but she'll always find a way to be in the race all the way to the end.

Dyanamic duo: Patrick DeSabato (left) set a TFCAGP D2 all-time best for 3k with his 8:52.26. Teammate Ivo Milic-Strkalj outdueled Lower Merion's Ben Furcht to win the mile.
