This year's meet promises to provide plenty of excitement on the boys' and girls' side.

Virtual Meet: Projected outlook for boys' teams at New England Championship Nov 07, 2014

The competition is talented for this Saturday's New England Championship, but according to our Virtual Meet there is one school that stands alone for team honors, defending champion La Salle Academy. The Rams, who scored just 25 points to win last week's R.I. state meet, compiled a score of just 28 points based on best times from each individual. Danbury of Connecticut and Rhody's Bishop Hendricken are two and three in the standings. Keep in mind, this Virtual Meet was used solely for team scoring so top individuals that qualified for the meet are not listed. Also, this Virtual Meet includes all athletes from each school, not the top seven varsity runners. It's not completely accurate but it will give a good indication of what to expect this weekend. 

New England XC Championship Preview Nov 07, 2014

The 80th annual New England High School Cross Country Championships will be run this Saturday, November 8th at Wickham Park in Manchester, Connecticut. The event is sponsored by the Council of New England Secondary School Principals’ Association (CNESSPA). The Boys race will begin at 11:30 am and the Girls race will follow at 12:30 pm over a challenging 5,000 meter (3.1 mile) course through open fields and woods.
