Six meets records were set this past Saturday at the Shoreline Conference Championships.

The recipient of three of those marks was Jessica Drop of Coginchaug Regional, a multiple winner inside the Floyd Athletic Center. The junior standout broke her own record in the 1,000-meter run by more than seven seconds with a personal best of 2 minutes, 55.70 seconds. She also captured the 3,200m with a MR of 11:37.48 and was on the record-setting 4x800m relay that was timed in 9:45.65. Additionally, Drop also took the mile at 5:20.36.

Coginchaug also etched their name in the books with its sprint medley relay, which snared the crown with a time of 4:23.77, and from Bailey Thayer, who broke the tape in the 600m with a 1:39.62 effort.

On the boys' side, Cromwell's Thomas Mantel set a meet record in the long jump with a leap of 21 feet, 4 inches. Morgan School's Brian Gendron copped the 600m with a MR of 1:23.98.

In the team competition, Coginchaug won the girls' title and Saybook went home with the boys' crown.
