Meet Information
Welcome:
You are invited to the Eastern Connecticut Conference Championship Meets for Large Schools at 10:00am and for Small-Medium Schools at 4pm on Saturday, Feb 5, 2011. The meets are open to all high school age athletes competing with their ECC high school team in their respective conference divisions.
Facility:
The meets will be held at the Roland Fieldhouse at the US Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT.

Entry Procedures and Limits:
Each school may enter three (3) athletes per event. Additional entries are allowed if all athletes meet the least restrictive qualifying standards for the state meets.
Each athlete may compete in three (3) events. Additional entries are allowed if all athletes meet the least restrictive qualifying standards for the state meets.
No boy/girl may be entered in more than three (3) events, including relays. Entry as an alternate counts as one of the athlete's three (3) events.
At the coaches discretion, up to two (2) wildcard athletes may be added that would not otherwise be able to compete in the meet.
Any entry mark meeting or exceeding your school state meet qualifying standard must be verifiable on the CIAC website.
Hand times must be converted to fully automatic timesuse the factor .24 to calculate.
All relay seed times are based upon a 200-meter track.
Registration:
All meet registration is administered by MySportsResults.com EZ Meet Services with the Head Count Registration system.
Online Event Entry for Boys and Girls Forms available at 01/05/2011.
Online Athlete Event Entries deadline - 9pm, Monday. Jan. 31, 2011.
No day of meet entries.
NOTE: Coaches who have made an error in forgetting to enter an athlete in an event must contact Meet Director Rich Kosta by telephone ( 860-449-7234 ) prior to 12-noon, Feb. 2, 2011. Coaches must include their own name, telephone number, Name of School, Athlete's First-Last Name, Event and Qualifying Mark as part of the phone message.
Meet Rules:
Coaches, please pay special attention to the following:
(CIAC, etc) ECC By-Laws, The National Federation and CIAC rules of track and field will prevail. For protests, a Jury of Appeals will be made up of the coaches of the gender affected by the appeal, less the coaches involved in the protest.
High Jump starting height Girls (4- 2) and Boys (5-0)
Pole Vault starting height Small Division Girls (6-0) and Boys (9'-0) Large Division Girls (7-0) Boys (9-0)
Awards:
Medals will be awarded to the top (3) three finishers.
Ribbons will be awarded to the finishers 4, 5, 6.
Team Plaque for each divisional winner (Boys & Girls).
Implement Check:
All implements must be checked in by an inspector prior to use in the meet. Violators will be disqualified for using implements that have not passed meet inspection.
