Girls Sprints and Hurdles

200m

Sydney Segalla's 23.96 time was not officially a Class record because of a stiff breeze at her back, however it was still run in wretchedly hot conditions. This shapes up as the final battle of the day between Segalla and 2021 champ Alanna Smith. Both are seniors, so it will be their final run at the Open.

400m

Alanna Smith won this race as a freshman in 2019 and last year again as a junior (no Open in 2020), so she is going for a threepeat. If Sydney Segalla can put together another sub 53 though, Smith will need to come way up from her PR of 54.94, which was run in a dual meet a month ago.
