Last June Mariella Schweitzer swept the hurdles titles at the CIAC Open and tied the state record in the 300H at 43.18. A little more work will be needed to take down the 100H mark of 14.16, but after winning the 55H indoor Open championship, that 100H mark is just another hurdle to overcome.
Top guys are back too, as Joshua Mooney was the runner-up last June in the Open's 110H before be ran off to take 4th in the javelin and then 5th in the 300H. Football and basketball star Matthew Gibbs should also be returning to defend his 300H title at the Open last year. Mix in a few other fast skimmers such as 2022 indoor Open champ Michael Lewis, runner-up Jarrett Boxley, and 3rd place finisher Blake Battaglia, and you got the potential for some high-flying action.
Note, as always, there are some duplicates in the lists due to name variations in results.
