Sacred Heart Academy's Edward Williams Jr. clocked one of the fastest times ever in state history with his 14.03 win in the 110 meter hurdles finals at the 2019 CIAC State Open as it would break a meet record of 14.15 that dated all the way back to 1995 by Tony Ortiz from Crosby.
