Summary: It's flush times in the NYSAIS, and the top five runners from last year's race are back. Two-time defending champ Trinity has distanced itself from the rest of its conference mates all season and appears set to go for a third title behind seniors Geordie Young and Aydin Williams and freshman Nikhil DeNatale. Collegiate has made its customary late season charge and looks likely to capture the second spot with an extremely tight pack led by George Nicholson and Clay Hard that placed a top 5 within 20 seconds of each other at the recent Ivy Prep race. Hackley, Packer Collegiate, and Riverdale Country Day will likely be jousting for positions in the top 5.

Last year RCDS's Tobias Wolfson won the NYSAIS title by 8 seconds over Geordie Young, and he will be favored for the win again. But with Young, Gabriel Cannavo, and Jonah Gorevic all sporting TRs above the 170 level, this should again be a good battle at the top.
