Wynne breaks 4 minutes at Terrier Classic!

Wynne en route to his victory in the 1,000m at the 2013 New England Championship

Henry Wynne achieved a running milestone on Saturday.

The former Staples High standout, a junior at the University of Virginia, broke the four-minute barrier for the mile at the Boston University's John Thomas Terrier Classic. Wynne finished fourth overall in the race with a time of 3:58.74.

Wynne becomes the second runner from Virginia to dip under the barrier in the last two years at the Terrier Classic. In the 2015 event, teammate Mike Marsella, who once starred for Chariho Regional in R.I., won the race with a time of 3:59,97. Wynne was third in that race at 4:00.28.
