Cathedral Prep's Malik Moffett was a double winner, and just lost the top spot in the high jump on a tie-breaker on his 6-6. He was tops though in the long jump at 22-5, and in the triple jump with an effort of 42-2.

Cocalico's Emily Stauffer tied her PA#1 performance of 40-3 in the shot put. Fleetwood's Cyre Virgo tied PA#2 with a clearance of 5-6 in the high jump. Schuylkill Valley's Jason Coon continued his strong campagn with a put of 57-1.75. He is currently PA#1.

Hempfield Area (7) junior Max Adams improved his PA#7 shot put by over two feet with a put of 55-7, which moved him into PA#4. Teammate and senior Rachel Fyalkowski was close to here PA#5 shot put mark with an effort of 38-10. Junior Bridget Guy of Hempfield matched her season-best of 11 in the pole vault, and was joined at that height by teammate, senior Lexi Masterson. They are in a log-jam in the state rankings, all in the top ten.

2012 PIAA Outdoor 1600m Runners-Up Kennedy Weisner of Elk County Catholic and Marissa Sheva of Pennridge went one-two with auto-qualifiers for the 2013 Millrose Games, going 4:54.18 and 4:54.90, respectively. 2012 AAA 1600 champion Sara Sargent was a close 3rd in 4:55.87 and could receive an invite to the prestigious meet on February 16th.

For the girls, Regan Rome of Dallas ran a PA#5 time of 10:19.12 to win the 3000 meter run. Kennedy Shank of Northern cleared 11-9 to tie for the state lead in the pole vault. Tessa Mundell of Governor Mifflin ran 5:21.34 to win the 1600 meter run.

Taylor Scales of Moon Area earned two 2nd place finishes in both the 60 meter (8.13) and 200 meter dashes (27.50). Grace Trucilla (2:19.86) and Claire Brown (2:24.06) of Villa Maria Academy finished 1-2 in the 800 meter run. Teammate Bernadette Prichard finished 3rd in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:27.95. For the boys, Jake DeHart of Cathedral Prep finished 4th in the 60 meter dash (7.29) and 3rd in the 200 meter dash (23.04). Greg Miaczynski of Central Tech won the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.84 and won the 60 meter hurdles in 8.38. Ethan Lewis of Cathedral Prep ran 4:28.28 to finish 3rd in the 1600 meter run and ran 9:54.33 to win the 3200 meter run. Offel Jordan of Cathedral Prep won the long jump with a mark of 20-10.25.

Shelby Burns of Laurel Highlands cleared 5-4 to win the high jump. Courtney McQuaide of Greensburg Salem cleared 10-6 to win the pole vault. For the boys, Jimmy Wheeler of West Mifflin ran a T-PA#5 time of 6.98 to win the 60 meter dash ahead of T-PA#8 Joey Wall of Ringgold (7.01). Wall did run 22.99 to win the 200 meter dash. Bethel Park girls ran 1:52.90 to win the 4x200 meter relay, 4:23.30 to win the 4x400 meter relay and 10:12.05 to win the 4x800 meter relay. India McCoy of Ambridge cleared 5-4 to win the high jump. Lydia Dennis of Mars Area won the long jump (17-2) and triple jump (36-6). For the boys, Nick Anderson of Kane Area cleared 14 feet to win the high jump. Johnathon Jacoway of Sharon won the long jump with a mark of 20-8 and won the high jump with a clearance of 6-3.

Pennsbury girls won the 4x200 meter relay (1:48.1) and finished 2nd in the distance medley relay with a PA#4 time of 12:34.0. For the boys, Pennsbury took back the state lead in the 4x800 meter relay with a US#6 time of 8:00.5. Council Rock North ran a PA#4 time of 10:38.9 to win the distance medley relay. Bensalem ran a PA#3 time of 3:24.5 to win the 4x400 meter relay.
