NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Freshman Jasmine Bien-Aime (Cambridge, Mass.) of the Southern Connecticut State University women's indoor track and field team has been named this week's Northeast-10 Conference Track Rookie of the Week for her performances last week.

Bien-Aime competed this past weekend at the Yale Season Opener, and finished second in two events.

Bien-Aime finished second in the 60 m dash in 7.74 seconds, and in the 200 m dash in 25.06 seconds. Both times were NCAA provisional marks for the NCAA Championships.

The Owls will next compete at the Thursday Night at the Races on Jan. 3.
