NEW HAVEN, Conn.-  Southern Connecticut State University Owls men's and women's track and field competed today at the Yale Season Opener in New Haven, Conn.

For the men, Fred Boateng (Hamden, Conn.) finished highest for the Owls in the 400 m dash in 14th in 52.65. Denzel Jones (Waterbury, Conn.) also finished 18th in 53.39.

In the 500 m dash, Brandon Gregory (Northvale, N.J.) finished seventh in 1:07.61. Franky St. Martin (Bridgeport, Conn.) also finished eighth in 1:08.20.

In the relays, the 4x400 team finished fourth in 3:27.39.

For the women, Jasmine Bien-Aime (Cambridge, Mass.) finished second in the 60 m dash in 7.74 seconds, and she finished second in the 200 m dash in 25.06 seconds.
