Courtney Dinnan has qualified for the NCAA Championships.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Graduate student Courtney Dinnan (Hamden, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University women's cross country team has been named to the 2012 USTFCCCA Division II Cross Country All-Region Team, representing the East Region.

This was based on her performance this past weekend at the NCAA Division II East Region Championships (6k) from Mine Falls Park in Nashua, N.H.

Athletes that finished in the top 25 individually during each regional meet earned the honor.

Dinnan came in third place at the meet with a time of 21:34.6 to lead the Owls to a fifth-place finish.

Dinnan also made the NCAA All-East Region Team, which was
made up of the top 25 runners from the meet.

Dinnan will now represent SCSU and compete at the NCAA Championships (6k) on Nov. 17 in Joplin, Mo at 12:30 p.m.
