NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Two members of the Southern Connecticut State University men's cross country team have been named to the 2012 USTFCCCA Division II Cross Country All-Region Team, representing the East Region.

Seniors Josh Perry (Naugatuck, Conn.) and Brian Nill (Ridge, N.Y.) received the honors for their performances this past weekend at the NCAA Division II East Region Championships (10k) from Mine Falls Park in Nashua, N.H.

Athletes that finished in the top 25 individually during each regional meet earned the honor.

Perry came in eighth place with a time of 30:49.2 to lead the Owls to a fifth-place finish at the meet. Nill finished in 14th place with a time of 30:59.6.

Perry and Nill also made the NCAA All-East Region Team, which was made up of the top 25 runners from the meet.
