JAMESVILLE, N.Y. - The SCSU men's cross country team competed to a sixth-place finish today at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (8k) at Jamesville Beach Park in Jamesville, N.Y.

The Owls had eight competitors, and finished in sixth with 141 points.

Stonehill went on to win their second straight conference title with 60 points.

Two Owls finished in the top 10 at the meet, and had four people in the top 50.

Senior Brain Nill (Ridge, N.Y.) led the team in fourth place with a time of 25:26.5. Nill also earned Northeast-10 Conference First Team honors from the meet with the performance.

Senior Josh Perry (Naugatuck, Conn.) was next for the Owls in 10th place with a time of 26:02.7. Perry also earned Northeast-10 Conference Second Team honors with the performance.

Senior Asher Brandt (Orange, Conn.) followed in 30th with a time of 26:51.4.

Sophomore Tom Saksa (Seymour, Conn.) also came in 39th in 27:02.7.
