NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Graduate student Courtney Dinnan (Hamden, Conn.) had a sixth place individual finish to help lead the SCSU women's cross country team at the Conn College Invitational (8k) at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Conn.

Dinnan finished in sixth with a time of 22:07.

The Owls brought seven competitors to the meet. They finished in fifth place with 158 points.

The Owls had five competitors in the top 50.

Junior Titlayo Vaniriel (Hartford, Conn.) finished in 24th with a time of 22:53. Sophomore Sarah Vaughan (Hamden, Conn.) finished in 44th place with a time of 23:38. Junior Nicole Strauss (Shelton, Conn.) finished 46th in 23:39. Freshman Emily Taylor (Guilford, Conn.) finished in 48th in 23:53.
