NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University men's cross country team competed today at the RiverHawks Cross Country Invitational in Nashua, N.H.

The Owls placed third out of the six competing teams, with seven participants.

Senior Brian Nill (Ridge, N.Y.) placed 11th for the Owls with a time of 26:36.

Seniors Asher Brandt (Orange, Conn.) and Samuel Montclair finished 14th and 15th with times of 26:43, respectively.

The Owls return to action on Sept. 22 for the CCSU Ted Owen CC Invitational.
