WESTFIELD, Mass. - Senior Brian Nill (Ridge, N.Y.) led the Southern Connecticut State University men's cross country team to an 15th place team finish at the New England Championships at Stanley Park in Westfield, Mass.

Nill had an 11th place finish with a time of 24:40.30 in the 8k race.

The Owls had six participants in the race, and totaled 445 points with the 15th place finish.

Senior Josh Perry (Naugatuck, Conn.) also finished in the top 50 for the Owls with a 48th place individual finish with a time of 25:22.90.

The Owls next compete at the Conn College Invitational in Waterford, Conn. on Oct. 13.
