NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut State University head women's cross country/track and field coach Melissa Stoll has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2012 season. The Owls are coming off a campaign in which they were ranked as high as No. 2 in the region. The Owls open the season at the Stony Brook Season Opener on Sept. 1.

Following the opener, the Owls will travel to participate in the Fordham Fiasco Invitational on Sept. 8. The following week, they will run in the Iona Meet of Champions on Sept. 15. The squad will then travel to run in the CCSU Ted Owen Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 22 to end the month.

The month of October will open up with the New England Championships on Oct. 7. The Owls will then travel to run in the Connecticut College Invitational on Oct. 13. The Northeast-10 Conference Championships will be held the following week on Oct. 20.

The NCAA Division II Northeast Regional will be on Nov. 3. The NCAA Division II Championships will be held on Nov. 17.
