BOSTON – The Southern Connecticut State University men's outdoor track and field program finished in second place at the New England Track and Field Championships, which concluded on Saturday.

Among the highlights for the Owls was Josh Perry's (Naugatuck, Conn.) second place finish in the 800 meters in 1:50.48 Brian Nill (Ridge, N.Y.) was third in the 1500 meters. Both student-athletes earned All-New England honors for their efforts.

Selected Owls will now move on to the NCAA Division II Championships later this month.
