NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sarah Vaughan (Hamden, Conn.) and Samantha Spindel (Brewster, N.Y.) of the Southern Connecticut State University women's outdoor track and field team were selected to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the second straight week.

Ranked No. 11 on the NCAA Division II national leader board for the hammer throw, Spindel claimed first with a toss of 53.52 meters at the Metropolitan Championships. Vaughan won the 10,000 meters with a time of 38:10.01 at the Metropolitan Championships this past weekend coming off the previous week with a win in the 5,000 meters at the Roadrunner Invitational.

The Owls will be back in action next weekend for the Larry Ellis Invitational held on April 19-20.
