NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Connor Coleman (Gunnison, Colo.) of the Southern Connecticut State University men's outdoor track and field team was selected Field Athlete of the Week by the Northeast-10 Conference for his NCAA Division II auto invite to the national championships in the decathlon achieved this past week at the UConn Decathlon Invitational. Joseph Poulsen (Oxford, Conn.) and Josh Perry (Naugatuck, Conn.) were named to the Weekly Honor Roll.

Coleman scored a 7030 point performance at the UConn Decathlon Invitational. He is currently ranked second in the nation in that event. With a time of 31:49.70, Poulsen won the 10,000 meters at the Metropolitan Championships, while Perry won the 1,500 meters with a time of 3:53.52.

The Owls will be back in action next weekend for the Larry Ellis Invitational held on April 19-20.
