Day One Meet Results

STORRS, Conn. – Members of the Southern Connecticut State University men's outdoor track and field team competed at the first day of the UConn Decathlon Invitational held today in Storrs, Conn. Nick Lebron (Newington, Conn.) currently sits in third overall with 3647 points followed by Connor Coleman (Gunnison, Colo.) in sixth with 3419 points.

Also competing for the Owls, Justin Escaravage (Brookfield, Conn.) is 10th with 3271 points, while Jason Polakowski (Essex Jct., Vt.) in 12th with 2914 points.

On day one, the student athletes competed in the 100 meters, long jump, shot put, high jump and 400 meter events. The final day of competition to start tomorrow April 11th will consist of the 110 hurdles, discus throw, pole vault, javelin toss, and the 1,500 meters.
