Sam Howell Invitational Day One Meet Results

PRINCETON, N.J. – A.J. Guerra (Stafford Springs, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University men's outdoor track and field team finished fifth in the hammer throw at the Sam Howell Invitational held today in Princeton, N.J.

Guerra managed a toss of 56.55 meters and is the No. 15th ranked student athlete in the hammer throw this season.

Coming off a first place finish in the 3,000 meter steeplechase just a week ago at the UConn Spring Invitational, Joseph Poulsen (Oxford, Conn.) finished 11th with a time of 9:11.62.

The Owls will be back in action tomorrow for the second day of the Sam Howell Invitational and the Roadrunner Invitational.
