Selasi Lumax named to Weekly Honor Roll by Northeast-10 Conference.
NEWH HAVEN, Conn. – Nick Lebron (Newington, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University men's indoor track and field team was named Men's Field Athlete of the Week by the Northeast-10 Conference coming off a national championship victory in the heptathlon event in Mankato, Minn. at the NCAA Division II National Championship.

Lebron won the NCAA Division II National Championship in the heptathlon and became the 19th student athlete to win a national championship for the indoor track and field program. He managed to score 5225 points and improve upon a school record he broke earlier in the season.

Joining Lebron with weekly honors, Selasi Lumax (Somerset, N.J.) made the conference weekly honor roll for his role in helping the Owls finish third at the NCAA Championships. Lumax claimed All-American honors in three events at the NCAA Championships. He fin¬ished third in the 800 meters marking his second straight top-8 finish dating back to the previous outdoor season. He was also part of the DMR and 4 x 400 meter relay teams that finished second and third, respectively.
