The Owls are currently the No. 4 ranked team in all Division II this week.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University men's indoor track and field team is the No. 4-ranked team in the country for the 2012 NCAA indoor track & field season in Division II. These rankings are determined by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national team computer rankings. The Owls dropped one spot from the previous week coming off a week of rest before eight Owls travel to the NCAA Championships this weekend in Mankato, Minnesota.

The Owls are the top ranked Northeast-10 school out of a total of three on the national poll for Division II: UMass-Lowell is sixth, while American International is ninth. The Northeast-10 Conference is the second ranked conference in Division II so far this year followed by Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) conference in first.

The Owls will send eight men to the NCAA Championships to be held at Minnesota State University, Mankato beginning on March 9.
