NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Selasi Lumax (Somerset, N.J.) of the No. 7 nationally ranked Southern Connecticut State University men's indoor track and field team was named Track Athlete of the Week by the Northeast-10 Conference. Lumax has qualified for the 2012 United States Olympic Trials by virtue of his mark in winning the 800 meters at the New England Championships on Saturday. Connor Coleman (Gunnison, Colo.) was selected for the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll.

In all, Lumax's time is currently the sixth best in the NCAA this year, at all three levels. He also improved upon his school record time broken earlier this season and ran the best time ever recorded in New England history.

Coleman won the New England Championship in the heptathlon with a score of 5047 and improved upon the Owls' school record broken earlier this season.
