Lumax Profiled As Part Of WTNH-TV ‘College Beat’

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior
Selasi Lumax (Somerset, N.J.) of the No. 7 nationally ranked Southern Connecticut State University men's indoor track and field team was profiled on WTNH-TV and MyTV 9 on Monday night as part of the sports department's 'College Beat'.
This past weekend, Lumax qualified for the 2012 United States Olympic Trials by virtue of his mark in winning the 800 meters at the New England Championships on Saturday. Lumax's time of 1:47.34 was the top time in Division II this season and nearly a full second better than the standard. In all, Lumax's time is currently the sixth best in the NCAA this year, at all three levels. He has qualified for the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships beginning on March 9.
