Nicholas Fedor joined four other Owls on the Weekly Honor Roll selected by the Northeast-10 Conference.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Five student athletes of the No. 8 nationally ranked Southern Connecticut State University men's indoor track and field team were selected to this week's Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll coming off their 19th straight indoor and outdoor conference title this past weekend in Boston, Mass. Included in the list were: Enis Bukalo (Derby, Conn.), Nicholas Fedor (Bethany, Conn.), Nelson Laskoski (Pomfret Center, Conn.), Josh Perry (Naugatuck, Conn.) and Brian Robbins (Bristol, Conn.).

Bukalo reached a NCAA provisional mark and led one of two Owls in the top-2 of the shot put with a heave of 15.80 meters.

Fedor was first at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships in the weight throw with a distance of 16.77 meters and managed a NCAA provisional mark.

With a first place finish at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships, Laskoski led two Owls in the pole vault with a height cleared of 4.6 meters.

In the 1,000 meters, Perry broke the meet record of the Northeast-10 Championships and the school record en route to a first place finish. He managed a time of 2:25.17. He also helped the 4 x 800 meter relay team claim a new meet record by well over six seconds en route to a first place finish with a time of 7:43.32.

Robbins claimed the top spot at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships in the 800 meters with a time of 1:56.01. He also helped the 4 x 800 meter relay team claim a new meet record by well over six seconds en route to a first place finish with a time of 7:43.32.

The Owls will be back in action at the New England Championships with day one on Friday at 12 p.m. in Boston, Mass.
