NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Ashley Bell (Riverhead, N.Y.) of the No. 12 nationally ranked Southern Connecticut State University women's indoor track and field team collected another honor to her credit with a selection to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for helping the Owls finish third at the conference championships this past weekend.

Bell claimed first in both the 55 meters and 200 meters event including NCAA provisional marks in both. She managed a time of 7.20 in the 55 meters and 25.12 in the 200 meters. She is currently ranked in the top-30 in the nation in each event for Division II student athletes.

The Owls will be back in action at the New England Championships with day one on Friday at 12 p.m. in Boston, Mass.
