SOUTH EASTON, Mass. - Southern Connecticut State University men's track and field coach John Wallin was named the 2011-12 Northeast-10 Conference Men's Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year following the conclusion of this year's league championships.

Wallin adds another accolade onto an impressive resume. Last year, he was named the NE-10 Outdoor Track and Field Coach of the Year and was selected as the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Regional Coach of the Year both indoors and outdoors.

He guided the Owls to their 19th straight NE-10 Championship - 10 indoors, nine outdoors - with the team title at this weekend's championship.
