Selasi Lumax was selected to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll for his performance at this past weekend's Valentine's Invitational.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Selasi Lumax (Somerset, N.J.) and Logan Sharpe (Esperance, N.Y.) of the No. 9 nationally ranked Southern Connecticut State University men's indoor track and field team received a selection the Weekly Honor Roll by the Northeast-10 Conference. To be nominated for this award, student athletes must first excel in their respective sport and be nominated by a member of their university community.

Lumax improved upon his previous school record with a seventh place finish in the 800 meters with a time of 1:48.7. He was also part of the 4x400 meter relay team that broke a previous school record en route to a second place overall finish with a time of 3:12.71.

Sharpe broke a school record set back in 1988 by finishing sixth in the 400 meters with a time of 47.72. He was also part of the 4 x 400 meter relay team broke a previous school record en route to a second place overall finish with a time of 3:12.71.

The Owls will be back in competition to defend their 18-straight Indoor and Outdoor Northeast-10 Conference Championships at the conference championships to be held on Feb. 18th.
