Titilayo Vanriel has been named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country team.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sophomore Titilayo Vanriel (Hartford, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University women's cross country team has been selected to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Cross Country Team.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team in Division II, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or greater through the most recent semester, completed at least 12 credit hours in the semester of cross country competition and placed in the top 50 percent at the most recent NCAA National Championships or in the top 30 percent at the NCAA Regional Championships.

Vanriel earned All-Conference honors at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships by virtue of an 11th place finish. She also placed 35th overall at the NCAA Division II East Regional.
