NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Junior Paul Ryskowski (Bristol, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University men's cross country team has once again been selected to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Cross Country Team. It's the third straight year that he has earned the honor.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team in Division II, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or greater through the most recent semester, completed at least 12 credit hours in the semester of cross country competition and placed in the top 50 percent at the most recent NCAA National Championships or in the top 30 percent at the NCAA Regional Championships.

Ryskowski, an All-Conference selection in cross country this past fall who was also named to the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team, finished 12th at the league championships. He was an All-Region selection in cross country last year.

He helped the Owls post a runner-up finish at the NE-10 Cross Country Championships. SCSU also was ranked as high as No. 16 in the national rankings this year.
