NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Nick LeBron (Newington, Conn.) of the No. 12 nationally ranked Southern Connecticut State University men's indoor track and field team received a selection the Weekly Honor Roll by the Northeast-10 Conference. To be nominated for this award, student athletes must first excel in their respective sport and be nominated by a member of their university community.

LeBron set a new school record in the heptathlon en route to a first-place effort at the Tufts Stampede. He finished with 4,946 points, the sixth highest total in Division II this year, and won the competition by 505 points. The record was previously held by Ryan Whitehead set in 2011.

LeBron and company will be back in action this Wednesday for the Manhattan/Fordham Tri-Meet to be held in Manhattan, N.Y. and again on Feb. 10-11 for the Valentine's Invitational to be held in Boston, Mass.
