Selasi Lumax and company broke the distance medley relay previously held by a team with Lumax as contributor.
NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Southern Connecticut State University men's distance medley team broke a school record at the Collegiate New Balance Invitational today previously held by Corey DeLaCruz, Richard Jackson, Selasi Lumax (Somerset, N.J.), and Josh Perry (Naugatuck, Conn.). The team consisted of Lumax, Logan Sharpe (Esperance, N.Y.), Brian Robbins (Bristol, Conn.) and Perry with a time of 9:48.22 in a third place overall finish.

Just a few hundred miles away in Boston, Mass., Nick LeBron (Newington, Conn.) is currently first after day one of the Tufts University Stampede Heptathlon. He is ahead of the second place competition by 145 points on his way to a second straight victory in the heptathlon coming off a victory at the Metropolitan Championships last weekend. His overall score is 2718.
