NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Nick LeBron and the distance medley relay team of the Southern Connecticut State University men's indoor track and field team are the newest addition to this week's updated 2011-12 NCAA Division II Indoor Qualifier List. The DMR team consisted of Selasi Lumax (Somerset, N.J.), Logan Sharpe (Esperance, N.Y.), Brian Robbins (Bristol, Conn.), and Josh Perry (Naugatuck, Conn.).

LeBron managed a school record in the heptathlon with a score of 4946 at the Tufts Stampede on Feb. 4th, whiile the DMR team is currently third in the nation with a time of 9:50.62 and a new school record achieved at the New Balance Invitational held on Feb. 3rd.

Perry holds the seventh best time in the one mile run and holds the school record with a time of 4:08.11 achieved at the Metropolitan Championships held on Jan. 24th.mmmmmfkjkwaddad

The 4 x 400 meter relay team of Fred Boateng (Hamden, Conn.), Stenson Jean-Baptiste (Stratford, Conn.), Thomas Phommalinh (New Britain, Conn.), and Twayne Forth (Brooklyn, N.Y.) managed a nation's twelveth best time of 3:17.24 at the Metropolitan Championships held on Jan. 24th.mmmmmfkjkwaddad

Enis Bukalo (Derby, Conn.) improved upon his NCAA qualifying mark in the shot put from Jan. 7th with a heave of 16.19 meters to rank 20th in the nation achieved at the Metropolitan Championships on Jan. 24th.

Lumax, Perry, and Robbins all rank within the top-15 in the 800 meters. Lumax is second in the nation with a time of 1:51.59 run at the Great Dane Classic on Jan. 14th. Perry is third and Robbins is 15th with times of 1:51.71 and 1:53.78, respectively, accomplished at the 2012 Great Dane Classic held on Jan. 20th.

A team make-up of Lumax, Forth, Jean-Baptiste, and Sharpe are now sixth in the nation in the 4 x 400 meter relay with a time of 3:15.91 achieved at the 2012 Great Dane Classic held on Jan. 20th.

Akeem Elliott (Greater Portmore, Jamaica) is currently ranked 15thin the long jump coming off a NCAA qualifying mark of 7.19 meters at the UConn Winter Invite held on Jan. 7th.

Connor Coleman (Gunnison, Colo.) drops two spot to ninth in the nation with a score of 4865. He claimed a second place finish in the heptathlon on day one of the Brother Jasper Invitational meet held on Dec. 9th. Justin Escaravage (Brookfield, Conn.) is now ranked 16th nationally coming off a third place finish at the same event with a score of 4743.

The Owls will be back in action this Wednesday for the Manhattan/Fordham Tri-Meet to be held in Manhattan, N.Y. and again on Feb. 10-11 for the Valentine's Invitational to be held in Boston, Mass.
