NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Titilayo Vanriel (Hartford, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University women's indoor track and field team was selected to the Weekly Honor Roll by the Northeast-10 Conference for her stellar performance at the Great Dane Classic this past weekend held in New York, N.Y. To be selected for the Weekly Honor Roll, student athletes must be nominated by their respective schools and the nominees are chosen by the Northeast-10 for recognition.

At the Great Dane Classic, Vanriel finished fifth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:14.41. She holds the second best time in the nation for the current indoor season.

The Owls will be back in action at the Metropolitan Championships in Manhattan, N.Y. to be held on both Jan. 26th and 27th.
