Jason Polakowski managed 16th in the 60 meter hurdles and helped the 4 x 400 meter relay team claim sixth place today at Yale.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Members of the Southern Connecticut State University men's indoor track and field team competed at the Yale Collegiate Invitational held today at Coxe Cage in New Haven, Conn. Leading the Owls in competition, 4 x 400 meter relay team consisting of Jason Polakowski (Bristol, Conn.), Chris Babcock (New Windsor, N.Y.), Thomas Phommalinh (New Britain, Conn.) and Fred Boateng (Hamden, Conn.) claimed sixth place in the event with a time of 3:31.98.

Babcock also managed a 10th place finish in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:00.52, while Polakowski  finished 16th in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9:31.

Paul Ryskowski (Bristol, Conn.) was 19th overall in the 3000 meter run with a time of 8:52.41.

Freshman Ryan Mills (Stratham, N.H.) managed a toss of 11.19 meters in the weight throw to a 19th place finish.

The Owls will be back in action next weekend for the Great Dane Classic to be held in New York, N.Y. on Jan. 20th with the first events to start at 9 a.m.
