Women's cross country finished fifth at Northeast-10 Conference Championship today.

WESTFIELD, Mass.  – The Southern Connecticut State University women's cross country team finish the day in fifth place overall at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships today in Westfield, Mass. Sophomore Titlayo Vanriel (Hartford, Conn.) led the Owls with an 11th place finish time of 18:33.67.

Chloe Ashcroft (Shelton, Conn.) was second on the team in 23rd with a time of 18:48.84. Nicole Strauss (Shelton, Conn.) claimed 38th place with a time of 19:10.97.

Also competing for the Owls: Jaclyn Sullivan (Lisbon, Conn.) in 54th, Kiara Bonilla (Bristol, Conn.) in 64th, Amanda Arcand (Vernon, Conn.) , Stephanie Sulkowski (Guilford, Conn.), Megan Carroll (Shelton, Conn.), and Rebecca Renzoni (Naugatuck, Conn.).

The Owls will be back in action Nov. 6th for the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional in Boston, Mass. scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. start.
