NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Brian Nill (Ridge, N.Y.) of the Southern Connecticut State University men's cross country team was named Division II Athlete of the Week by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) for his first place finish at the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday.

Nill placed first with a time of 25:27 at the Connecticut College Invitational held this past weekend. He also led the Owls to a first place overall finish, and paced the squad to take four of the top five spots.

The Owls will be back in action this weekend for the Northeast-10 Conference Championships in North Hampton, Mass.
