Brian Nill led the Owls to another victory at the Connecticut College Invitational held today.

WATERFORD, Conn. – Brian Nill (Ridge, N.Y.) of the Southern Connecticut State University men's cross country team helped the Owls to a first place overall finish at the Connecticut College Invitational held in Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Conn. Nill led the way for a total of four Owls to finish in the top five of the event.

Nill finished the course with a time of 25:27. Josh Perry (Naugatuck, Conn.) rounded out a strong finish by the Owls in third with a time of 25:35, while Corey DeLaCruz (Alamogordo, N.M.) was fourth and Paul Ryskowski (Bristol, Conn.) was fifth.

Selasi Lumax (Somerset, N.J.), Asher Brandt (Orange, Conn.), Chris Babcock (New Windsor, N.Y.), Sam Montclair (Cheshire, Conn.), Tom Saksa (Seymour, Conn.) and Tyler Fredsall (Torrington, Conn.) also competed for the Owls.

The Owls finished ahead of such notable schools as Tufts and Trinity College.

The Owls will be back in action next weekend for the Northeast-10 Conference Championships held in North Hampton, Mass.
