BRONX, N.Y. – The Southern Connecticut State University men's cross country team sent Chris Babcock (New Windsor, N.Y.) and Tyler Fredsall (Torrington, Conn.) to compete at the 2011 Metropolitan Conference Cross Country Championships in Van Cortland Park of Bronx, N.Y.

Babcock finished in 96th place with a time of 29:16 and Fredsall claimed 98th place with a 29:18 run.

The Owls will be back in action Saturday Oct. 8th for the New England Championships.
