NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University men's cross country team cracked the USTFCCCA Top 25 Division II teams in the nation for the first time this season in the week two poll .The Owls currently rank 16th. Southern Connecticut has placed first in both of its meets so far this year including the Division II Cross Country Challenge held last Saturday in Kutztown, Pa. and the Central Connecticut State 23rd Annual Blue Devil Invitational held on Sept. 2.

The Owls look to continue their stellar season at the Metropolitan Championships in Van Cortland, N.Y. on Oct. 7 at 11 a.m.
