NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University women's cross country team is now third in the NCAA Division II East Regional this week. Dropped one spot from the previous week, the Owls were selected by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA.) They are coming off a sixth place team finish at the Division II Cross Country Challenge this past weekend in Kutztown, P.A.

The Owls will be back in action Oct. 7th for the Metropolitan Championships in Van Cortland, N.Y. scheduled for an 11 a.m. start time.
