NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University men's cross country team improved to second in the NCAA Division II East Regional this week. Up from third the previous week, the Owls were selected by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA.) They are coming off a second meet win in as many events this past weekend at the Division II Cross Country Challenge in Kutztown, P.A.

The Owls will be back in action Oct. 7th for the Metropolitan Championships in Van Cortland, N.Y. scheduled for an 11 a.m. start time.
